"Ah? Elbaf?" Hiko was somewhat surprised. His gaze passed over the tall little Giant girl before him and landed on the even larger, more intimidating adult Giant warriors nearby. They stood leisurely atop the gash cut into the Sea Beast, looking at him with bewildered expressions and undisguised smugness.
"Yes, this is Elbaf, the strongest country in the world!" the little Giant girl said cheerfully. "Don't be afraid. We saved you, so you won't become Sea Beast poop!"
Hiko was at a loss for words. On his first day after being swallowed, he had been soaking in the Sea Beast's gastric fluid. Even such powerful acid had failed to corrode him. How could he possibly be digested into something so filthy?
Unaware of Hiko's thoughts, the little girl simply treated him as an ordinary human. Happily, she reached out and scooped him up, and since Hiko assumed she meant no harm, it created a graceful princess-carry scene. The ridiculous part was that the little Giant girl held Hiko like a tiny doll, instantly robbing him of any sense of enjoyment.
Still, she casually wrapped a piece of cloth around Hiko's body, concealing the beautiful scenery. That thoughtful gesture immediately made Hiko's favorable impression of the Giant race soar.
"Look, these are the Giant warriors who cut open the Sea Beast and rescued you!" The little girl held Hiko up toward the two Giants in the distance and smiled. "They're the strongest Giant soldiers!"
Hiko nodded to show his gratitude for saving him. To his surprise, the two Giant warriors merely snorted arrogantly, turning their heads away without sparing him a glance.
Hiko was speechless. Do Giant warriors also have this arrogant attitude of looking down on humans?
"Haha! Don't feel humiliated by their rough, barbaric behavior. They may be rude,
