Whenever he thought of everything Uchiha Hiko had gone through before, he could barely endure it. He felt that perhaps fate truly was like this—even Yaya, if he stayed by his side, would slowly be defeated by fate.
He kept thinking that one day, Yaya might meet his end at his hands. At that thought, Uchiha Hiko felt deeply guilty and no longer wanted Yaya to remain by his side.
But if he said it outright, Yaya would definitely understand what he was thinking. He could not tell him something so gentle.
So he wanted to use an utterly loathsome attitude to make Yaya leave in sorrow. Though this method was cruel, it would allow Yaya to make the same decision sooner.
Though he was only a small animal, he had his own ability to think and his own thoughts. Uchiha Hiko respected him, but while respecting him, he also hoped Yaya would act according to his wishes.
After all, Uchiha Hiko was now his master, so Yaya was fairly obedient in some matters. But he was also worried about how Yaya would live if he truly left Uchiha Hiko.
Uchiha Hiko was also terribly afraid that others would bully Yaya. Yaya was still too small, and ordinary people could not see him. He feared that Yaya would later encounter situations he could not resolve at all.
