The Uchiha Great Elder's Scheme!

Hiko looked up at Tsunade and smiled as he nodded. "What, do you want to come along?"

Instead of answering, Tsunade asked curiously,

"I'm curious. Why do you go to the Training Ground? At the clan's Training Ground, the clan elders would guide you, wouldn't they?"

Instead of using the perfectly good clan Training Ground, he insisted on squeezing into the public Training Ground with ordinary ninja. Hiko's actions were rather baffling.

"Ha~~~~"

Hiko yawned, secretly wondering why Teacher had not arrived yet. He replied flatly, "I don't like people telling me what to do. Is that reason enough?"

"Bring me breakfast tomorrow. I want a meat pie!"

After saying that to Hiko, Tsunade sat properly in her seat. Teacher happened to walk into the classroom just then.

Bring her a meat pie?!

Hiko froze for a moment. Looking at Tsunade's cute profile, he had no idea what the girl was thinking. The Senju Clan was clearly trying to stop Tsunade from getting close to him, yet this girl still wanted him to bring her a meat pie!!!

She would finally get to sleep in tomorrow.

If Hiko had known what Tsunade was thinking, he probably would have coughed up blood. There was none of the messy stuff Hiko had imagined. Tsunade simply wanted to sleep a little longer.

As for the warnings from the clan elders, Tsunade did not take them to heart at all.

What messy clan grudges? They were utterly boring. Don't doubt it—Tsunade was just that willful, at least for now.

Forget it. After thinking about it for a while and still failing to figure out what Tsunade was thinking, Hiko simply could not be bothered anymore. It was just a small meat pie, hardly any trouble. If she wanted to eat one, then she could eat one.

Poor Jiraiya got slapped by Tsunade. In the end, even Teacher could not stand watching anymore and sent Jiraiya to the hospital.

"Uchiha Hiko!!!"

After class, Hiko still headed to the Training Ground first. His training continued until nightfall before he returned home, only to find an unwelcome visitor waiting there.

"Captain."

Hiko was puzzled. Why had he come to his house instead of staying with the Police Guard? Had Hiko done something that caught the attention of the Uchiha High Command?

But that did not seem to be the case. Hiko had not even revealed his Sharingan to anyone.

"Mm."

The captain looked down at Hiko, a trace of satisfaction flashing through his eyes. Though he worked in the Police Force, he handled more of the clan's internal affairs. Ordinary children would feel intimidated upon seeing him.

Yet Hiko remained calm and composed, without the slightest hint of fear or overstepping.

This child was not bad.

The captain silently gave Hiko that assessment.

"Your performance lately has been quite good. The Great Elder asked me to tell you that the Uchiha Clan stands behind you in everything. You need not worry about interference or opposition from other clans. For that reason, the Great Elder has specially approved your entry into the Clan Ancestral Hall, where you may choose two suitable Ninjutsu as your reward."

"Make good use of this opportunity, kid. Go to the Clan Ancestral Hall whenever you have time."

The captain apparently had no intention of wasting words with Hiko. After conveying the Great Elder's message, he left directly.

Watching him leave, Hiko stood there for a long, long time. A barely noticeable sneer crossed his lips. Did they really think I was that stupid?!

This was obviously the clan encouraging Uchiha Hiko to win over Tsunade. What a load of crap. They said they would back me up—what a clever scheme. Too bad I'm not an idiot. Still, being allowed into the Clan Ancestral Hall to choose two Ninjutsu as a reward was an unexpected bonus.

Only now they were talking about backing me up? Where the hell were they earlier?

It was easy to guess what the Great Elder was thinking. This so-called support was meant to disgust the Senju Clan. The Uchiha Clan and the Senju Clan might appear peaceful on the surface, but their secret struggles had never stopped. If people from the two clans got together, hehe... the consequences would be severe!!!!

And now they were supporting Hiko going after Tsunade? Were they openly treating him like a five-year-old child, like some fool?

Tsunade's reaction made it obvious. The Senju Clan had been constantly persuading her not to get close to him. Once he took the initiative and got involved with her, the Senju Clan would definitely be the one embarrassed. In matters like this, women were always the ones at a disadvantage.

What a clever scheme!
