Bull Demon King knew that Uchiha Hiko had heard every word of his conversation with his master.
He froze slightly and said nothing more. Then he turned to look at Uchiha Hiko and said with a smile,
"What's this, Brother Uchiha Hiko? Do you really think my master would be so completely smitten with you?"
Hearing Bull Demon King's words, Uchiha Hiko was slightly taken aback as well. He raised his head to look at him, his gaze utterly sincere as he said loudly,
"Big Brother Bull Demon King, you've completely misunderstood what I was thinking. I know how much respect you have for Senior Master Roshi.
And how much you want Senior Master Roshi to live a more peaceful life. That is why everything I have done has been for Senior Master Roshi, and for you as well."
Hearing Uchiha Hiko's words, Bull Demon King smiled slightly. Though he knew that Uchiha Hiko's words
were entirely meant to fool him, he could not expose Uchiha Hiko in front of his master. If he truly angered his master,
then not only would the bond between master and disciple be gone, but even his friendship with Uchiha Hiko might come to an end.
So he gently shook his head, reached out to pat Uchiha Hiko on the shoulder, and whispered into his ear,
"Ah, I won't bother with it anymore. Take care of yourself."
Hearing Bull Demon King's almost resigned words, Uchiha Hiko smiled slightly. At that moment, he roughly understood that Bull Demon King had truly given up.
So he grabbed Bull Demon King and said with a smile,
"Big Brother Bull Demon King, since you have given up on stopping all the plans between Senior Master Roshi and me, how about I invite you to join me?
