The moment Hiko sat down, Tsunade started teasing him. The meaning was obvious—she was saying that a boy like him took even longer to bathe than a girl.
Hiko smiled as though he did not understand, picked up his chopsticks, and turned over the slices of meat that had begun to sizzle with oil. "Jiraiya, aren't you afraid of getting drunk and sleeping on the street? No one's taking you home this time."
"This is mine?!" Jiraiya instinctively hugged the bottle of alcohol, looking as though someone was trying to steal it from him. Someone might indeed try to snatch it, but it would not be Hiko—only Tsunade or Orochimaru.
Hiko rarely drank, so Jiraiya guarding against him was pointless.
"Cheapskate!!" Hiko might not drink, but that did not stop him from looking down on Jiraiya.
