Where Is This?

The sea was calm beneath clear skies, and peace filled the space between heaven and ocean, as though all the world's tranquility had gathered within this stretch of water.

Suddenly, the calm sea began to churn. Bubbles continuously rose from the depths, bursting one after another when they reached the surface.

Splash!

As the bubbles grew increasingly violent, the seawater parted to both sides and waves rolled up in layers. A ship suddenly burst out of the sea. Its hull was severely damaged, its mast and sails nearly destroyed. Only the pirate flag fluttering in the wind remained the most intact thing aboard the ruined vessel.

"Move it, boys!" a sleazy man with a bulbous nose and a side-parted hairstyle shouted, his voice carrying barely concealed anxiety and fear. "Get moving! Don't let that thing catch us!"

In truth, the sailors aboard the pirate ship needed no command from their side-parted captain. They were already running about in a panic, preparing everything needed to sail, desperately trying to get the pirate ship moving and leave this terrifyingly tranquil sea at once.

Gurgle... Gurgle!

Just as the pirate ship had sailed a short distance away, more bubbles rose from the sea. They churned thickly and rapidly, as though something terrifying might emerge at any moment.

"We're done for, Captain! There's no time!" a sailor shrieked.

Boom!

Massive waves rolled across the surface as an enormous dark shadow shot up from the depths. Its vast outline made even the huge pirate ship seem tiny by comparison.

Roar!
