Hearing Garp's words, quite a few people looked at Hiko with admiration and envy. To be noticed by the Marine Hero and invited to join the Marines meant enlisting as Garp's disciple and receiving his personal instruction. What an honor that was!

Unfortunately, Uchiha Hiko was covered in black lines. He had no interest in Garp's invitation.

Not to mention how strong he was now, just look at poor Garp. Both of his beloved grandsons had become Pirates. One had died at Marine Headquarters, while the other's fate was unknown after escaping. Neither had fulfilled his wish of becoming a Marine. Garp was probably trying, in some way, to make up for Luffy and Ace's failure to join the Marines by training these Marine soldiers.

Uchiha Hiko had not come here to become a Marine, nor did he intend to join the iron-blooded faction led by Akainu.

When the Uchiha Name shook the Red Line Continent someday, Uchiha Hiko did not want some sort of prefix attached to Uchiha.

What he wanted was for the three words "Uchiha" to resound throughout heaven and earth. Then, he wanted his name to echo across these seas for a thousand years, ten thousand years.

As a man of action, Uchiha Hiko did whatever he said he would do.

"Sorry, I'm not interested in foodies." Hiko followed Koby and Helmeppo onto the warship, casually rejecting Garp's invitation.

"Ha ha! You certainly have character, and I quite appreciate that!" The more Garp looked at Hiko, the more pleasing he found him. He laughed heartily and immediately pulled out a Den Den Mushi. "No need to be polite with me. I'll have a word with Sakazuki. From now on, you'll be my subordinate. No one in the entire Marines will be able to order you around.
