Despite everyone's futile attempts to dissuade him, Uchiha Hiko ultimately went to meet with the Marines. The Marines had sent a total of three warships. These vessels, far larger than ordinary pirate ships, sailed into the harbor, drawing cries of surprise and crowds of onlooking fish-men. What shocked them even more was that the Kraken from the North Sea, which had carried their savior Uchiha Hiko here a few days ago, was once again serving as a ship slave.
It had only itself to blame for being blind. After Hiko released it, it wandered around the seabed and encountered three Marine warships. Wanting to vent its frustration, the Kraken foolishly went looking for trouble. Facing a lineup guarded by Momousagi and Chaton, it was immediately beaten into questioning its entire fish life.
In the former Fishman Island plaza, the tree-cutting operation was in full swing. Hiko's Wood Style had directly transformed the surface of the plaza, causing a dense forest of towering trees to grow from thin air. Yet the fish-men of Fishman Island liked this new environment and spent every day burrowing into it to help chop down the trees.
Sometimes, Hiko maliciously imagined that when the day came for him to retire from the world and live in the wilderness, he would become the owner of a forest ranch. He could use Wood Style once a day, and business would absolutely never stop.
