Law's heart jolted. He had never considered this question. All along, he had only looked at things from his own perspective. Even when he occasionally guessed what his Eldest Brother might be planning, it was only in terms of what his Eldest Brother might want to gain from him. Even after defeating Doflamingo, Law had believed that Uchiha Hiko was merely trying to win his final trust.
Yet Law had never considered that perhaps Uchiha Hiko did not care that much. All this time, he had only been patiently testing him, and now, this was the final question of that test.
Whether he passed or failed would determine whether he was suited for the position of First General Under My Command. Whether Trafalgar Law would have a place among the illustrious lineup Uchiha Hiko would lead to shake the world would be decided at this very moment.
That kind of mindset, that depth of thought, was on an entirely different level from his own.
Law suddenly felt enlightened. The weary gloom in his heart seemed to vanish as the vast sky opened before him, waiting for him to soar through it. And the person who had helped him untie that knot was quietly watching from above that sky, waiting for his choice: to soar, or to become strangers.
Law looked back at Doflamingo. His hand tightened around his sword, loosened, tightened, loosened. After repeating that three times, he finally gave up on killing Doflamingo. "Lock this bastard away until the end of the world!"
Fujitora revealed a faint, gratified smile. A soldier behind him flicked his wrist and pulled out Seastone shackles, stepping forward to cuff Doflamingo. "As you wish!"
Suddenly, a commotion erupted inside the Underground Factory, and countless screams burst from the toys.
