Case File: Final OVER THE TIMES
After V rex brought Hana to somewhere relatively safe, it turned back to support Ash in battle. Then, after several towering flashes of light that stole everyone's vision, when Hana and the others searched the area again, the terrain around the evacuated hospital had been permanently changed.

Standing at the edge of the semicircular crater that looked as if the entire ground had been recast, Hana held back the tears in her eyes and refused to let them fall. Rubbing her painfully sore eyes, she turned on the cassette-like playback device that had fallen from V rex.
"Hana."
In the video, Ash sat atop V rex's head and greeted Nono Hana on the other side of the screen. Hearing his familiar voice, the absurd sense of separation made it feel like a lifetime had passed.
"The person in front of me is Nono Hana, right? If Hana is the one who got this prerecorded video, that would be great... Well, nobody else should be holding it. I wouldn't mess up something that simple."
"By the time you get this, I'll probably already be dead... Don't cry in front of me." Hearing Ash's warning, Hana desperately rubbed her increasingly red eyes with the back of her hand.
