As the greatest ninja clan in the Land of Stars, the Uchiha clan's residential district covered a vast area, its architectural style blending the traditional features of an Uchiha compound with the modern elements of the Land of Stars.

Neat courtyards lined both sides of the bluestone road, each one planted with cherry trees. This had been Uchiha Hikari's suggestion.

Morning sunlight spilled over the plaza at the center of the compound, and several Ninja Crows preened their feathers on the eaves.

Two figures arrived at the edge of the plaza from different directions at almost the same time, meeting in front of an imposing mansion.

Inabi Uchiha and Izumi Uchiha nodded to each other in greeting.

Both wore the standard Hoshinin jōnin vest, a fitted dark-blue design, with Hoshinin Headbands bearing the five-pointed star emblem tied around their foreheads, and the Uchiha Crest on their backs.

This uniform both reflected their identity as people of the Land of Stars and preserved the pride of the Uchiha clan.

Inabi's features were firm and resolute, with a faint scar beneath his left eye, a memento from the "Night of Defection."

Izumi was petite and delicate-featured, with a tear mole beneath her right eye. Her shoulder-length black hair was tied into a neat ponytail behind her head, and compared with the frail girl she had been back then, she had matured considerably.

The two were just about to knock when the mansion door opened from the inside.

Shisui Uchiha stepped out.

Unlike the two of them, Shisui wore the black uniform of the Police Department. He was now the minister of the Land of Stars Police Department, commanding tens of thousands of police troops throughout the nation.
