Mui and Mujo counted Kusagakure’s devastating losses after Menma’s attack, while Black Zetsu guessed that Asura might be an Otsutsuki sent to investigate the Demonic Statue. Menma prepared to leave with Uchiha Hikari, Karin, and Uzumaki Fuka to catch up with the organization’s other team.

Menma met Pakura in the Land of Bears and explained that he had overthrown the daimyo to remove corrupt rulers, while Pakura tried to recruit him for Sunagakure. They left the city to duel, where Pakura learned that Menma was the wanted criminal called Asura.
