Sasori looked at the scene before him, pulled an ancient-looking scroll from his robes, and spread it open. In a low voice, he said, "Looks like the Royal Vein still violated the ancestral rules."
Hearing this, Kagami Uchiha turned his head.
"You have information I don't know about? Let's hear it."
Sasori fell silent for a moment before speaking.
"My father was a member of the royal family of the Ancient Kingdom of Roran."
"Huh? Aren't you Chiyo's grandson? Your father should have been the First Kazekage's son, shouldn't he?"
He glanced up at Kagami Uchiha and spoke calmly.
"My father had red hair. The First Kazekage and Elder Chiyo had black and purple hair respectively. Their child was my mother."
"My father married into the family."
Kagami Uchiha nodded thoughtfully.
There was no distinction between maternal and paternal grandmothers here. Kagami Uchiha had never understood such things before.
Curling his lips, Kagami Uchiha chuckled. "So..."

Sasori's expression darkened slightly.
It was hard to believe he could make puppets so perfectly that it was almost impossible to tell them apart from real people.
"Among the royal family of Roran, only women have possessed the ability to communicate with the Royal Vein for generations. They're known
