Background / History

Su Fan is a transmigrator whose past-life experiences were exposed during the Yin Luo Sect’s Heart Questioning procedure. He began as a low-level cultivator relying on relentless training, a game-like status panel, and repeated cultivation of techniques that others considered dangerously painful or unsuitable for humans. 7 82 100

He entered the Yin Luo Sect as an outer disciple, but deliberately chose a remote Spirit Field assignment to preserve the secluded life he preferred. During this period, he acquired sect resources, studied extensively in the Scripture Hall, and developed a close friendship with Liu He. 82 84

After becoming a fugitive pursued by the Zhou Family, Su Fan survived repeated encirclements, killed large numbers of their disciples, and earned a fearsome reputation as an Evil Cultivator throughout the Western Wilderness. 200 He later adopted the identity of “Fan Su,” worked as a Talisman Master, and used multiple appearances and identities to sell talismans and dispose of spoils without attracting attention. 18

Su Fan subsequently joined the Shuiyun Sect through its Talisman Hall, passing its assessment by successfully drawing three Evil Exorcising Talismans in four attempts.
