Jazz paced back and forth, then spotted quite a few ships below the cliff. He immediately wondered whether they had seen the fat man and decided to go down and ask.
The cliff was incredibly steep, almost completely vertical. Only a few protruding rocks kept its face from looking perfectly smooth. Jazz took a deep breath. He had trained hard every day, and now the test had come. Only if he could successfully descend this cliff would it prove that all his sweat had not been in vain.
"Wait here for me. I'll go down and ask." Jazz stretched his limbs and spoke to the few foolish men behind him before turning and leaping off the cliff.
"Huh?" Before the others could react, Jazz had already jumped down. Their faces instantly drained of color as they threw themselves to the cliff's edge and shouted frantically below, "Boss Jazz!"
Jazz focused all his energy, distributing every bit of strength evenly to every point of support in his body. Looking at the protruding footholds on the cliff, he took a deep breath, suddenly exerted his strength, and activated his movement technique. He lightly pushed off a foothold, using it to slow his descent before launching himself downward again.
Effortlessly neutralizing the force of his fall while controlling his strength as he wished filled Jazz with delight. He immediately gained tremendous confidence in the results of his hard work over the past few days.
With enough confidence, Jazz performed even more smoothly, speeding up as he descended the cliff.
