With all the warships in the bay now moving, the tides churned and undercurrents surged beneath the surface. They were doing well just to keep swimming in the right direction, let alone roam about as freely as Jazz did.
One careless mistake, and if they were struck by a moving warship, they would be crippled even if they survived.
Under Jazz's lead, the two of them spent nearly an hour before they barely managed to swim out of the bay. The distance was not even a mile.
By now, the sea had become a boiling mess. The warships gradually spread apart, steering clear of the burning prisoner-of-war ship as people investigated the cause of the fire.

At that moment, Erid, who was still searching between the warships for Jazz and the others, spotted from afar a rope ladder being thrown down from a distant warship. A fat man was carrying a little kid up the ladder on his back!
"Oh, so this fish was the one who set the fire!" Erid grumbled before launching himself toward that warship, shouting loudly, "The arsonists are over there! Don't let them board the ship!"
His thunderous voice exploded throughout the bay. Countless gazes immediately turned toward its source, and the sharper ones followed the direction Erid was charging in. They saw Anrield and Jazz already climbing aboard that ship.
