The middle-aged man gently lowered the spyglass in his hand and looked at the surging blue waves. Jazz and the others had long since vanished without a trace.
The Pirate Alliance's pirate sailors rushed to the side of the ships, leaning over the railings as they silently watched the sea, hesitating over whether to jump in and pursue those people who had dared to attack the First Fleet of the Pirate Alliance.
"Send some men who are good swimmers down to pursue them!" The middle-aged man paid no attention to the violently churning waves. Instead, he issued a new order. "They have wounded people and children. They can't have swum far! Bring them all back to me!"
The man behind him hesitated for a moment, but said nothing further. He turned and gave the order directly, "Count the wounded and assess the losses. At the same time, immediately send the strongest swimmers into the sea to hunt down these outrageously bold attackers."
Although the Pirate Alliance was in utter chaos, and quite a few warships had been bombarded by Anrield, the actual losses were not great. Other than a handful of gun emplacements and deckhouses that had been blown apart, there were few casualties.
In comparison, the battle aboard the warship where Jazz and the others had been had caused far more Pirate Alliance casualties.
Just as the Pirate Alliance was gathering men and preparing to search the sea for Jazz and the others, chaos suddenly erupted on shore. Explosions boomed one after another, and amid the flames, many people were continuously blasted into the sea.
No one knew what had happened on shore. Many pirate sailors who had been making preparations there were repeatedly knocked flying into the water.
