Boom! The cabin was the first target to be blown up. A deafening blast rang out, and flames accompanied by billowing black smoke shot into the sky. Jazz and several of his men were struck by the powerful shockwave and immediately thrown to the ground. Those Lodun defenders had actually succeeded in blowing up the ammunition depot of the ship they had seized.
A huge hole split open in the middle of the hull, and the ship cracked apart at both ends before slowly sinking.
"How are you all?" Jazz struggled to his feet, his ears still buzzing violently as he hurriedly checked on the men he had brought with him.
"Boss! We're fine, but this ship's finished!" someone answered.
"As long as no one's hurt!" Jazz steadied himself. Seeing more and more ships converging from all directions, he laughed. "So what if this ship's wrecked? Aren't there plenty more over there? Charge over and seize another one!"
The distant explosion startled everyone at the other battle positions, drawing their attention over. Then they saw the ship Jazz was on blown into two halves.
Anrield was terrified out of his wits and immediately went berserk, ready to rush over and support Jazz. But he soon saw Jazz climb up from the ship, gather his team, and promptly shift tactics, abandoning the vessel to force his way onto another ship.
After breathing a sigh of relief, Anrield flew into a rage. He leaped down onto the beach, raising his weapon high. "Brothers! Boss Jazz is willing to risk his life fighting—what are you hesitating for? Do you dare follow in my footsteps!?"
"Kill!" The Third Fleet members who had successfully reached the beach shouted one after another, leaping down from the ships and following Anrield as they charged toward the enemy
