Just as Ronglin and Yagura had guessed, Rasa began digging three feet deep in his search. And sure enough, he found some well-hidden treasures.

The ships had come from the direction of the Land of Artisans and were headed for Konoha, guarded by numerous Konoha ninja. Many people immediately realized what had happened.

For a time, the news spread quickly.

Ronglin did not care if others passed the news along, because by the time it reached Iwagakure and Kumogakure, the convoy had long since returned to Konoha.

When Ronglin returned to Konoha with countless supplies, wealth, and artisans, Ōnoki, far away in Iwagakure within the Land of Earth, had only just received the news.

Ōnoki sprang straight out of his chair and stood behind his desk, glaring at the Intelligence Department personnel. His eyes were as wide as a bull's, and his expression was exceedingly grim.

"According to intelligence, Konoha, Sunagakure, and Kirigakure formed a secret joint force seven days ago and attacked the Land of Artisans. The three villages divided up everything there. Many people witnessed Konoha's forces returning with countless supplies and riches, as well as a large number of artisans."

"Furthermore, no news has yet come from Sunagakure or Kirigakure. They are likely still on the road due to the greater distance and have not returned to their villages yet."

"Our people also personally went to the Land of Artisans and confirmed that the Artisan Ninja Village has been wiped off the
