Ay looked at Ōnoki, then at the Iwagakure Intelligence Department personnel, utterly bewildered. What was going on?
His thoughts were much the same as Ōnoki's. Hadn't the enemy already been driven out to sea? Why had they suddenly appeared within the Land of Earth?
Suddenly, an ominous feeling rose in Ay's heart. He inexplicably felt uneasy, yet he could not say why he had such a premonition.

Before Ay could figure it out, an anxious shout came from outside the command post. Immediately afterward, someone from Kumogakure's Intelligence Department rushed in. Ay's eyelids twitched. He now knew why he had felt so uneasy.
Although the enemy had been driven out to sea, they had been delayed for a time in the middle. Therefore, the enemy might have split up and headed into the Land of Earth and the Land of Lightning.
