About half an hour later, the outline of Black Wind Valley appeared before them.
The valley was indeed unusual. Pitch-black stones covered its surroundings, their surfaces smooth, as though they had been deliberately polished.
Although there were plenty of martial artists, Black Wind Valley was vast.
Hundreds, perhaps a thousand martial artists were scattered everywhere. Some tapped and hammered among the piles of black stones, while others inspected caves deep within the valley.
Some even drew their swords against one another on the spot while fighting over a suspicious-looking location.
"Marquis Su, should we take a look too?"
Zhang San pointed at a group of martial artists gathered around a huge stone nearby and asked Su Fei quietly.
Su Fei shook his head, sweeping his gaze over the chaotic crowd.
"No need. With so many people searching, someone will find the entrance eventually. Let's find somewhere to wait first. We can head over when the time comes."
Zhang San and Li Si immediately understood what Marquis Su meant.
They would wait for the others to find the entrance, then follow them inside, saving themselves the effort of searching and avoiding the initial scramble.
Both nodded. They found a relatively level clearing on the western side of the valley, took the tent fabric off their horses, and quickly began setting it up.
They were only halfway done when two Mortal Transformation Realm martial artists approached, looking the three of them up and down with wary eyes.
"Which sect are you from? Are you here to search for the tomb too?"
Su Fei grinned.
"We're from the Blazing Fire School. We're just here to join the excitement."
Seeing Su Fei's ordinary clothes and the lack of any powerful aura about him, the two martial artists immediately let down their guard and sneered.
