Seeking the secrets of Dou Di, Zhu Kun coveted Tou She Ancient God’s Cave Mansion and fell into its restrictions. He was confined in an independent, formation-restricted space between the mansion’s entrance and the surrounding magma beneath Jia Nan Academy—not inside the mansion itself. The formation trapped him without preventing outsiders from entering 163 184 186.

His disappearance left Zi Yan sealed in her dragon egg for tens of thousands of years. The prolonged seal damaged her origin, delaying her growth. Meanwhile, the clan split into four Dragon Islands, and most of Zhu Kun’s contemporaries eventually died of old age 186 235 253.

Reunion with Zi Yan and rescue efforts

Xiao Yan brought Zi Yan into the sealed space, allowing Zhu Kun to recognize his daughter through their shared bloodline. Zi Yan initially rejected him, declaring herself an orphan, while Zhu Kun blamed his own greed and Tou She Ancient God’s scheme for their separation.
