Amy had told Li Qi that she had an older brother and an older sister.
Her older brother was currently acting as king, handling political affairs in place of the old King, who was ill and unable to move about freely.
Her older sister, meanwhile, managed the military. She was the marshal of the military and the one currently directing the war against the Duchy of Uno.
According to Amy, the idea to join forces with Falor and launch an attack on Uno this time had most likely come from her older sister, Ilona.
From what Amy had said, Li Qi could tell that Ilona was probably a domineering woman—or, more precisely, an uncompromising one.
She was certainly one of Inglis's staunchest hardliners.
Amy even suspected that the assassination attempt against her had very likely been carried out by Ilona's subordinates.
As for Ilona herself, Amy said that Ilona probably had no intention of turning against her own family.
Of course, that was only Amy's personal opinion. No one knew what the truth was at present.
Li Qi did not care about any of that. He was only using what he had heard from Amy about the Second Princess to decide whether he should meet her.
His conclusion was that he should avoid meeting her if possible. After all, who knew whether this marshal of Inglis would notice that something was wrong with him?
With that thought, Li Qi rose and said to Joe:
"Since the professor has something to deal with, then I'll come back later..."
Before he could finish, the Second Princess's voice rang out from inside the room again:
"Professor Derien! I've said all I have to say. Think it over carefully! I'll come again tomorrow!"
