Uesugi Tetsu's thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.
He clicked his tongue and looked toward the door. A moment later, he understood.
--The voice was exactly the same as the man he had seen in the corridor earlier.
He simply hadn't expected the pair to enter the room right beside his. Otherwise, the man would never have knocked on his door on his first try.
"This world is so big. Why did they have to provoke me?"
Uesugi Tetsu sighed. In fact, he had already sensed that something was off about the aura of the other woman in the corridor.
But he hadn't wanted to interfere.
Yet with all this noise, if he continued ignoring it, they might interrupt what he was doing later.
Rising helplessly, Uesugi Tetsu maintained White Brahma's appearance as he opened the wooden door.

The man was stark naked, with faint traces of blood still staining his body.

Nishiyama Ryota leaned against the edge of the bed, clutching the small wound on his neck as he gasped for breath in terror. Cold sweat streamed down his body and soaked into the hotel's patterned, plush carpet.
He smiled in relief and stared up at the broad, sturdy figure casually standing with both hands in his pockets.
Nishiyama Ryota thought he had knocked on the right door.
Tap, tap, tap.
But in the very next instant, the crisp sound of high heels striking the tiled floor rang out, making Nishiyama Ryota's sickly pale body tremble violently.
He roared, "Close the door! Hurry and close the door! That monster is coming!"
