Volume Two is finished! Shower me with flowers, shower me with flowers.
Compared with the first volume, I'm still fairly satisfied with this one.
Although there were still some minor problems... Well, those were hard to avoid.
After all, this volume totaled 172,952 words and was completed in a mere twenty-four days!
That averaged 7,206 words a day. I really worked hard, didn't I!
And including the 30,000 words of notes and outlines, I averaged 8,400 words a day... Gah, I've burned out and turned into snow-white ashes.
Updates became a little less frequent during the last few days of the volume. There really wasn't anything I could do about it, since I had to wrap things up.
Balancing the large number of updates with quality during serialization really is quite difficult.
But don't worry. Once Volume Three begins, I can enter burst-update mode again.
--Please give me lots more monthly tickets and automatic subscriptions, meow!!!
Also, the paid follow-up subscriptions for the chapter before the volume's end reached 715, almost the same as the initial subscriptions. The average subscriptions also rose from 1,190 to 1,750. You could call that a resounding victory!
It proves that my writing style is still workable.
[Tomorrow, I might take a day off to flesh out Volume Three's settings and outline.]
[Or perhaps I won't.]
If I take a day off, I'll post a leave notice.
Otherwise, there will be an update!
There are still many things I'd like to talk about, but Volume Three is already right before us!
Let's first bring out the massive third volume, which should exceed 500,000 words.
Next up!
Here's a preview of the opening remarks for Volume Three, The World's People--
"Clear rivers and calm seas, favorable weather and abundant harvests.
Good governance and harmonious people, a
