After Brook easily defeated him, Elder Kasa invited the visitors to dinner and served them juice made from Heart-Shaped Grass, which strengthened the bones.

Ch. 552Fruit Secured

Redfield fought Saladin while Brook waited for a chance to extract the Vampire Form Devil Fruit without killing him prematurely. When Saladin’s life and death energies fell out of balance, Brook seized the opening, extracted the fruit, and watched Saladin crumble into dust.
