Hoffenheim's Fairy Tale

On the afternoon of May 9, in the Bundesliga's thirty-first round, Bayern visited Cottbus.

In the twenty-sixth minute, Thomas Müller crossed from the right, and Su Dong headed the ball home inside the penalty area to give Bayern the lead, 1–0.

After the halftime changeover, Pepe scored with a header from a corner, then Su Dong assisted Thomas Müller, who scored to make it 3–0.

In the seventy-first minute, just before being substituted, Su Dong received Ribéry's cross from the left, controlled it with his chest, and drilled a low shot into the net with his left foot to make it 4–0!

In the end, Bayern crushed Cottbus 4–0 away from home and claimed another three points.

But for Bayern, who had already secured the league title in advance, it meant very little.

Heynckes did not field Su Dong in the first half, choosing to let him rest instead.
