Beating Down Rony

It was not actually far from Munich to Zurich, but they were pressed for time.

Su Dong had been traveling long distances for days, attending matches and events one after another, and was understandably a little exhausted.

By the time he arrived in Zurich and checked into the hotel arranged by FIFA, it was already afternoon.

After resting briefly, it was time to head to the press conference venue.

It was not until just before they left that Su Dong saw Rony, Messi, Xavi, and Kaka.

They were all old acquaintances, and everyone was delighted to see one another.

Su Dong was especially close to them. Other than Kaka, the remaining three had all once been his teammates, and they had excellent relationships.

Kaka was also famously easygoing in European football, treating everyone with great warmth.

"We're all here to be your guests this time!" Xavi laughed.

Everyone knew that after winning the Ballon d'Or, the World Footballer of the Year award was essentially already in Su Dong's bag.

Su Dong laughed and pointed out that Xavi was trying to call in a favor.

"Next time you win an award, I'll come be your guest too. Even if you're not nominated, I'll still come."

Su Dong's words made everyone burst out laughing, and Xavi was delighted as well.

In truth, as a midfielder, it was relatively difficult to win a prestigious individual award.

"By the way, where's Xiao Bai?" Su Dong asked with concern.

Messi spread his hands. "He's in a bad mood, so he went shopping."

Su Dong suddenly understood and nodded. "Xiao Bai always has a few days each month when he's in a bad mood. I understand."

Everyone laughed again.

Only people with relationships as close as Su Dong's with Iniesta and the others could tease him
