Su Dong's estate stood on the eastern outskirts of Wilmslow, in Cheshire's Golden Triangle.

It covered a vast area and represented a considerable investment. Even with the construction crew working around the clock, the project still took a full eight or nine months to complete. It was, without question, a major undertaking.

Once completed, Su Dong's estate became the largest luxury residence in Wilmslow—and even in the surrounding areas of the entire Golden Triangle.

On top of that, it had been designed by the renowned master architect Brenner, giving the estate a modest level of fame even before it was finished.

Brenner was highly ambitious as well. He wanted to use what he called the most perfect work of his career to date to compete for all the major awards he had set his sights on and take his professional career to the next level.

As it happened, after Su Dong moved to Wilmslow, Cheshire, Pepe, who had joined Man City alongside him, also settled there.

He bought a detached luxury home roughly one kilometer from Su Dong's house as the crow flew. It was only about a third the size of Su Dong's estate, making it one of the more typical detached villas in Wilmslow, complete with a small swimming pool.

Marcelo and Toni Kroos also rented villas nearby, while David Silva was considering moving to Wilmslow as well. He wanted to put an end to his life as a tenant and buy a property there.

The sky was clear and blue. A spotless black asphalt road stretched straight ahead into the distance, seeming to merge with the blue sky on the horizon.
