In the villa district of Castelldefels, on the western outskirts of Barcelona, Spain.
Messi's good friend Agüero had come from Madrid to visit Barcelona, which delighted Messi's entire family. They warmly entertained their longtime friend. The two had been roommates all the way from the National Youth Team to the senior national team.
This was not Agüero's first time visiting Messi's villa, but every time, he still let out the same exclamation.

Messi's current home occupied a vast area. It had originally been two plots of land, the best-located one belonging to Su Dong. But after Su Dong transferred to Bayern Munich, he sold the villa to Messi. Messi then demolished it and rebuilt it into the enormous villa and garden it was today.
Agüero was also a renowned star in world football and lived in a luxury mansion in Madrid, but compared with Messi's home, his still seemed somewhat inferior. He could not help feeling envious.
"To be honest, it's a good thing you bought it early. If you'd waited another two years, you might not have been able to afford it." Agüero sighed.
Messi had been lucky enough to meet Su Dong. Not only had Su Dong lent him the money to buy the villa, but he had later sold it to Messi at a friendship price. That was what allowed Messi to own the most luxurious top-class mansion in all of Castelldefels.
"I should thank Su. If he hadn't lent me the money back then, I wouldn't have been able to afford it. Later, he sold me the house and even let me owe him." Whenever Su Dong came up, Messi's face filled with gratitude.
