Balalaika had once taken a liking to two things Angel possessed.

One was his right hand. The other was Toby.

But Angel had not chosen to trade with Balalaika at the time. Still, the Grave Knight remembered clearly that Balalaika had once said that if Angel ever wished to make a trade, he could come to the Resting Place to find her.

Now that he had appeared here again, the Grave Knight naturally assumed Angel intended to trade with Balalaika.

And since that was the case, he was a guest.

"I would like to go inside and make a trade. Would that be alright?" Angel asked. His Abyssal was vague and muddled, like a babbling infant learning to speak.

Before the Grave Knight could answer, Stian, standing on the other side of the bar's entrance, suddenly laughed. "Little one, this isn't a bar in Demon City. If you want milk, you'd best go somewhere else."

Angel naturally heard Stian's mockery. However, his Abyssal was not very good. Even though he heard it, he did not understand what Stian had specifically said, so Angel did not spare Stian so much as a glance.

Angel's attitude made Stian snort coldly through his nostrils. Yet in order to maintain the perfect, elegant expression on his face, Stian said nothing. Besides, the mark on Angel's ear seemed strangely familiar to him, while also carrying a faint sense of threat. He felt as though he had seen it somewhere before.

But in the next second, Stian's perfect expression suddenly froze.

Unlike when he had stopped Stian earlier, the Grave Knight did not block this young man with the strange accent. Instead, he nodded, took a step aside of his own accord, and even extended a hand in invitation. "This way, please."
