Through the open shop door, Angel noticed that several demons had appeared in the woods outside, craning their heads to peek this way. The vast majority were Half-Blood Demons, though there were also some strange-looking lesser demons.
At first, Angel did not understand what was happening until he stuck his head outside and looked up.
The Milky River phenomenon created by Plapa's breakthrough glowed with a faint blue light, winding and circling overhead, drawing countless gazes.
"With such a huge commotion, could my shop have caught the eye of some Greater Demon the moment it opened?" Angel rubbed his chin. Night had told him to keep a low profile, yet it seemed he had already failed on his first day of business.
"You think Greater Demons have that much free time?" Fafnir sneered after hearing Angel's mutter. "Countless lesser demons are born every day. No one will care about your pathetic little shop."
After mocking him, Fafnir still added, "Even if a Greater Demon truly comes, I have nothing to fear."
Angel had grown accustomed to Fafnir's sharp tongue. He would not be staying in Lasudelan for long anyway; once he had earned enough money, he would leave. A temporary little wooden cabin was enough—he only needed to make do for a few days.
Although demons were peering out from the woods beyond the door, observing the little "Illusion" cabin, not a single one entered.
Every demon watched from the shadows.
Only when Plapa emerged from the doorway with a dazed expression did a ripple of commotion spread through the crowd.
That breakthrough phenomenon had been caused by Plapa?!
Plapa was fairly well-known nearby, but only because it was weak. Yet now, that weak Plapa had actually broken through! Even if Plapa's strength after breaking through was at most comparable
