After Trom emerged, the door slowly vanished, appearing behind another reef.
Trom stood atop a reef barely large enough for one person, his expression somewhat grave. He had not expected the competition grounds to present such a difficult situation.
Trom swept his gaze around. The gloomy sea was relatively calm, and there was no sign of the trolls yet. But the fishy stench in the air made him vaguely uneasy. He could not help closing his eyes and extending tendrils of mental power, hoping to sense the state of the sea in advance.
At that moment, the narrator's crisp voice rang out. "It seems our Phantom Deer contestant is very cautious. After all, he is facing ocean trolls. But trying to sense the ocean trolls now—even if he really does sense them, will that add to his pressure, or relieve it?"
