The green mist came quickly, and vanished just as quickly.
Because it dispersed so fast, most residents assumed it was merely a somewhat unusual but still normal meteorological phenomenon. That was, until someone discovered a wall outside the Ocean Theater covered in climbing vines.
The entire wall was draped in lush green vines. Some even bore tiny pale-purple flowers, and from afar, they looked like a cascading waterfall of wisteria blossoms.
Most importantly, these green vines were real!
Long ago, Firstheart City had begun "greening" itself. But at the time, that had really meant carving plants from stone, painting them green, and placing them along the streets as scenery. Yet now, after just one brief fog, real plants had appeared in Firstheart City?!
While everyone stood stunned before the climbing vines, others discovered plants appearing throughout Firstheart City. There was even a fruit-bearing tree in the very center of Firstheart City Square!
This time, the whole of Firstheart City seemed to explode into an uproar.
The sudden appearance of plants had caught everyone off guard. Some were puzzled, some were afraid, but even more were celebrating.
Although Firstheart City had become increasingly prosperous as its population grew, it had always lacked a little life and vitality.
Once the weather began changing and the four seasons became distinct, Firstheart City's sense of life had barely been made up for. Yet it still lacked vitality. Not until today, when great swathes of green plants appeared, was that missing corner—one no one ever mentioned aloud, yet deeply cared about—finally filled.
Amid everyone's cheers and excitement, Firstheart City seemed to be reborn at that very moment.
But happiness was happiness; the plants that had descended so suddenly still brought questions, and those questions needed a channel for answers.
Thus, after the clamor had passed,
