Maya left the Stargazing Hall with Dodolo under the probing, meaningful gazes of the observers.

Inside the Stargazing Hall, no one stopped Maya. They silently watched the teacher and student vanish from sight.

The air was somewhat hushed.

No one asked whether Dodolo had truly seen more than two prophecies. With their discernment, it was easy for them to tell from his words, details, and expression that he had not lied.

Precisely because he had not lied, the observers felt rather dazed.

Maya was one of the finest among prophecy wizards, so it was understandable that she had seen multiple prophecies. As for the eleven observers present, seeing multiple prophecies was standard fare.

But Dodolo was different. He was merely an apprentice!

There had never been a precedent for a prophecy apprentice seeing multiple prophecies in the Mystery of the Starry Sky!

In other words, Dodolo had set a record!

They seemed to understand now why Shikel wanted Dodolo as his assistant. His talent absolutely could not be underestimated!

Back when Shikel had only been a prophecy apprentice, he had made the same choice as Dodolo and voluntarily spoken first at an exchange meeting. But at the time, his prophetic ability had been exceedingly meager. His daring to speak had been purely driven by courage—or, to put it another way, thick skin—and the prophecy he gave had been utterly meaningless.

Yet it was precisely that courage that had allowed Shikel to reach the position of observer in just three hundred years.

Dodolo, however, was not relying on courage. He possessed genuine ability! He had truly seen more than two fragments of the future!

With such obvious observer potential, no wonder Shikel did not want to let him go. It was the equivalent of grooming one of his own in advance!
