"Hydra said at Stargazing Day that the Guman Kingdom would undergo a tremendous upheaval in the future. At the time, many believed the disaster in the Eternal Night Kingdom would spill into the Guman Kingdom. But yesterday morning, a prophetic wizard said at the exchange meeting that he had seen the palace where the Guman King and his descendants resided engulfed in raging flames. The blaze went on without end, burning for three days straight." Maya sighed softly.
"The fire appeared only in the palace, while the city's populace was barely affected. This does not resemble the disaster facing the Eternal Night Kingdom. Therefore, the Guman Kingdom's disaster may be an independent event."
Once it was considered an independent event, the matter became rather strange.
The Guman King was a powerful wizard; his strength was anything but weak. He rarely left his palace. How could he possibly endure having it scorched by fire for three days?
Maya feared that the Guman King himself might have met with an accident in this blaze.
Though the Guman Kingdom did not border the Pamiji Plateau, it was not too far away either. After the wizard organizations of the Eternal Night Kingdom had all relocated, the nearest large wizard organization to the Guman Kingdom was, in fact, Savage Cave.
If something had happened to the Guman King, and it was an extraordinary disaster, it could very likely spread to Savage Cave. That was why Maya had specifically brought up this prophecy.
Rhein, however, was utterly unconcerned after hearing it. The Guman King was indeed quite formidable, but he was only one man. In Savage Cave, there were more than a handful stronger than him. So even if the Guman King truly met with an accident, the odds of it affecting Savage Cave were low.
