Dream Wilderness, New City.

A barefoot girl in a crimson puffball dress, holding an ink-black parasol trimmed in red, walked along the far end of the long street circling the city.

The buildings nearby had basically all been completed—tall and densely packed, yet utterly deserted. Most people were at the other end of New City, where construction was still underway.

A gorgeously dressed girl carrying a parasol walked down a bustling yet empty brick-paved street, beneath an unbroken canopy of dark clouds. It possessed a rather decadent, painterly beauty.

Moreover, her blood-red dress carried an overwhelming sense of presence, making her impossible to miss within the grand composition at a glance.

Liana, flying through the air, had been drawn in precisely this way.

Liana dropped straight down from the sky and arrived before the girl. She looked her over from head to toe for a moment, her gaze finally settling on the girl's bare feet, before she burst out laughing. "Ever since you became a wizard, this is the first time I've seen you actually standing on solid ground outside, Flora."

The girl in the crimson puffball dress—Flora—rolled her eyes at her friend in irritation. "Do you think I wanted this? Luss's energy level is too low to use the levitation spell. The spiritual power here can't support my body floating either. It's infuriating."

Liana pursed her lips and laughed for a while, then took a wind-hide scroll from the pouch at her waist and handed it to Flora. "Take this for now. It has a basic reserve of wind power. If you're only floating in the air, it should keep you going for ten days to half a month."

Flora accepted it and sensed it for a moment. "If I don't use it for traveling, it'll barely be enough."
