Blaze lay on the ground, hemming and hawing for ages without saying a word. He had no idea what to say. He couldn't exactly admit that he had come to secretly watch Sibyl.
Blaze wanted to say nothing at all, but Mero's gaze was truly terrifying. He had lived in White Goose Town for so many years and seen its dark side for so long, yet he had never felt such immense pressure from anyone else's eyes.
