The navigator hesitated for a moment. "If it's only rough winds and waves, we should have no problem getting through. But if an Inverted Sea Wall really appears..."

The navigator began wavering as well. This was the Devil Sea, after all. Their ship might have weathered countless battles, but if it encountered a catastrophe capable of swallowing them whole like an Inverted Sea Wall, they would still be finished. Still, Inverted Sea Walls were not so easily formed. Though there was a certain chance of one appearing, that chance was not high—perhaps only one in thirty. They could gamble on it.

The navigator told the captain what he was thinking.
