Ghost Shipyard Island, Dock No. 4.
For everyone aboard the Moonlight Tu Bird, tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.
Master Man was dead, and nearly all of Bloodbreaker's fighting force had been wiped out. This should have been cause for celebration, because it meant they could easily move into and occupy Dock No. 1, which they had coveted for so long.
Yet not a single person aboard showed any joy.
All of them looked toward the medical room with hopeful, prayerful eyes. Even those standing on deck, who could not see where the medical room was at all, still turned their heads in its direction, bitterly awaiting the final result.
Captain Barro, Little Boqi... and Lunke.
The three of them were currently in the medical room, being treated jointly by the Moonlight Tu Bird's doctors and Little Flea.
If those three died, what meaning would there be in occupying Bloodbreaker and Dock No. 1? Captain Barro was their nominal leader, while Lunke was their spiritual leader. If a ship lost both its leaders, what followed would inevitably become its darkest hour.
Moreover, Lunke was the true force of martial might aboard the ship. With him present, the people from the other docks would not dare invade. Without him, even if they occupied Dock No. 1, they would not be able to hold it in the end.
So at this moment, everyone waited in anticipation for the final outcome.
"Will the captain and the others be okay? Honestly, if they were going to attack Dock No. 1, why didn't they tell us?"
"They'll be okay. They'll definitely get better. We've lived on this ghost island for so long—I refuse to believe the captain and the others will fall here."
