As Reynolds touched the display room's door, an Authority Eye slowly emerged.
When the Authority Eye locked onto Reynolds, his heart became exceptionally uneasy.
On the first floor, he had not been worried about anything. But after being ambushed on the second floor, Reynolds had become somewhat jittery, afraid that his authority had been altered by a higher sequence.
Fortunately, after two or three seconds of appraisal, the Authority Eye smoothly changed from yellow to green.
The door opened.
Reynolds' authority had not been revoked. At the very least, he could still enter the second-floor display room.
As Reynolds breathed a sigh of relief, Nis also exhaled deeply. He was actually even more concerned than Reynolds that they might be unable to enter the display room. After all, everything inside was visible profit. Now, it seemed their luck was not bad.
The second-floor display room was laid out exactly like the first-floor display room. Only the exhibits were different.
Having learned his lesson from the first floor, Nis did not waste even a second. The moment he entered, he moved among the exhibits, rapidly filtering and selecting them.
However, after checking for only a minute, Nis realized that quickly screening them would be difficult.
There were clearly far more exhibits here than on the first floor, and many were bizarrely shaped body parts. Identifying their origins in a short time was no simple matter.
Like the container on the metal table to Nis' left. Inside was a long, slender fleshy tendril. Other than being a dull gray, it had no obvious characteristics. At first glance, Nis had thought it was the lure of some deep-sea fish, like the little lantern on an anglerfish's head.
If it was a lure, it would not be worth much, so Nis passed it by.
