As the pitch-black sky gradually began to pale with the first hint of dawn, Ms. Moon and Mr. Sun finally bid the attic farewell.
Uriel stood at the courtyard gate, watching the two of them board their carriage and slowly disappear into the misty streets of morning beneath the clip-clop of the horses' hooves.
"What a miraculous night..." Uriel murmured.
In the first half of the night, he had witnessed Glaimo and Luigi's Star-Climbing Challenge in a dream. In the latter half, he had met a woman who seemed to have encountered Luigi in that dream as well.
Uriel felt as though all the ups and downs of the past half year had been compressed into this single night.
Amid his musings, Uriel suddenly remembered something else. "Oh, right. I was so busy talking with Ms. Full Moon about the dream that I seem to have forgotten to guide Crescent Moon..."
Uriel thought about it, then shook his head. "Forget it. The full moon lady didn't mention it herself, so she probably forgot too."
Their earlier conversation had been too animated and enjoyable. Both sides had described every dream detail they could remember, leaving no stone unturned. For a while, they had neglected the proper business at hand.
Still, Ms. Full Moon and the others seemed to be heading for the capital, where Birmingham Eden Academy was located. Finding better teachers there would not be difficult.
With that thought, Uriel stopped dwelling on it. Covering his mouth, he let out a huge yawn and turned back into the attic.
"I've finished recording tonight's scores. Once I tidy them up a little when I get back, I can mail them to the academy's magazine along with the previous ones."
At that moment, Uriel could not be bothered to fret over whether
