"Since you can't touch me anyway, why don't we talk?" Gleipnir looked toward the Carnival Night Clown not far away.
The Carnival Night Clown was hiding within a dark phantom shadow, with only those slightly crazed eyes still fixed dead on Gleipnir.
"You want me to let you out?" the Carnival Night Clown sneered.
"To me, this is only a dream. Dreams always have a time to wake, so whether you let me out or not makes no difference." Gleipnir said, "I simply want to talk with you."
Gleipnir looked utterly sincere, as though she were willing to bare her heart.
But the Carnival Night Clown did not believe her at all. Still, it did not refuse immediately. Its eyes rolled as it said, "You want to talk to me? Fine. First tell me why your body can move without consciousness, and then I'll talk to you."
Gleipnir did not know whether the Carnival Night Clown truly wanted to "talk." But she could tell that it wanted to use this chance to probe for the reason, perhaps even continue controlling her body.
