The dreamscape created by the Whispering Curse was currently known to have four layers:
A void of darkness, a bizarre city, a church corridor maze, and finally, a pure white room.
When constructing the illusion, Darkman had first abandoned the first layer, the dark void.
There was nothingness in every direction here. Even if it were recreated, there would be no clues to reference. Even if Kemei and the others saw it, they would have no way to "copy the answers."
If they truly entered it, they could only rely on their own luck.
Only starting from the second-layer city dream did he begin a truly meticulous reconstruction.
Within the illusion, countless abstract, densely packed buildings twisted and rose and fell like strange human shadows lying silently in wait, deathly still and oppressive.
And when the city's malice descended, the buildings began drifting and closing in frantically, the entire dreamscape instantly changing from dead silence into suffocating urgency.
In the end, Darkman had luckily found this layer's exit—the enormous church shrouded in a rainbow halo.
The church was also the entrance to the third-layer dream.
Stepping into the church led to a black-and-white interwoven corridor maze.
The long corridors constantly flipped, undulated, twisted, and branched. Dolls dressed in divine robes peered from the shadows, letting out chilling, eerie laughter.
Once the maze's malice was triggered, those dolls would wield instruments of torture and begin a mad pursuit.
At the end of the maze stood a pitch-black door.
Beyond that door was the endpoint of the four-layer dream—the pure white room.
By this point, Darkman had recreated every illusion he had experienced.
Though constrained by memory and mental strength, many details he had failed to notice remained blurry, fading in and out, and some scenes were slightly distorted, the overall framework
