When the door that existed only within Leviathan's consciousness was pried open by a crack, a phantom door finally appeared at Leviathan's side. Every wizard present noticed it as well.

Only then did they believe the earlier rumors. Perhaps a mysterious space truly existed here.

Everyone stared inscrutably at the door. Though it was currently no more than a crack, they could already sense the obscure, deathly stillness emanating from within.

What kind of situation did that aura signify?

Although a crack had appeared in the door, neither Florence, hidden in the shadows, nor the Basket Witch stepped forward immediately. The door had only revealed a slit, but they could sense that it was merely a virtual state, not a real door. Only once the door was fully opened would it be time for them to act.

However, while Wizards of True Knowledge could sense this, not everyone understood it.

A wizard who prided himself on his mastery of transformation waved his wooden staff lightly. All the flesh and blood of his body contracted into a tiny lump, turning him into a buzzing mosquito.

Relying on his tiny transformed body, he intended to slip through the crack amid the chaos.

But when he flew to the edge of the crack, he realized that what looked like a tangible opening was actually still in a mysterious state that could not be touched.

The only one present who could still touch the door was Leviathan.

The wizard transformed into a mosquito was unwilling to accept this and could only return. Yet his actions planted a small seed for what was to come.
