Illusion and Dream

Frod looked as though inspiration had burst forth like a spring, utterly immersed in writing. After thinking for a moment, Angel did not go up to disturb him, instead looking around his room.

The room had been kept very clean. Every furnishing was arranged with great precision, and there were no items left lying about. It was clear that even after death, in his soul state, Frod still maintained strict discipline over himself.

Angel had previously conjured all these books for Frod to pass the time. They were basically fantasy novels stored in the Holographic Tablet. Angel had discovered earlier that Frod was interested in transformation-themed novels such as "Gale Sword Princess" and "The Crime and Punishment of Lilies," as well as stories about being reborn as a beast, so he had conjured more novels of the same kind.

The fact that Frod had placed them by his bedside was enough to show how much he liked such novels.

Angel casually picked up a novel called "Wicked Goddess" and saw that Frod had written down many of his thoughts inside. They were far from entirely favorable; most were criticisms, accompanied by remarks like, "If I became a woman, I absolutely would not spend the first day like this."

Compared to the novel itself, Frod's comments were even more interesting.

Perhaps the sound of Angel flipping through the book was too obvious. Frod, who had been bent over his desk writing, twitched his ears and turned around, only to discover a book floating in midair.

Frod called softly, "Mr. Pat?"

Angel did not feel embarrassed at having his name exposed. Almost every time he came to Frod's room, Frod would notice as long as he moved even a single thing.
