Mermaid Shell

The Sina Trench was one of the many trenches in the Whisker Whale Sea, and not a particularly conspicuous one. Its depth and width were both below average, yet because it held abundant marine treasures and produced a special kind of shellfish greatly beneficial to merfolk, a merfolk city had been built there.

This was also the first time Angel had heard of this. Whether at White Shell Sea Market or on other nautical charts, he had never seen any city marked here.

When he had left Revelation Continent, he had passed through this stretch of sea. He had never imagined that, thousands of meters beneath the surface, there would be an underwater paradise.

"Get ready to dive. According to the information Master received, the Ashen Time Caravan should arrive at Roydes within the next couple of days." Bulei the owl flapped her wings and spoke to Angel.

Angel nodded. Not wanting to waste time, he plunged straight into the sea.

Yet after diving several hundred meters, he discovered that Bulei had not followed. Helplessly, he returned to the surface, only to find Bulei looking aggrieved. "I don't know how to swim."

Angel expanded the range of the Purification Field until it was large enough to envelop Bulei, then dove down again.

As they descended, the strange and magnificent sights beneath the sea made Bulei keep turning her head like a curious child.

But once they left the upper waters and lost all sources of light, Bulei could no longer make out the scenery around her. She pitifully begged Angel to cast a Light Spell.

"I heard that owls have exceptionally good night vision, but you..." Angel glanced at Bulei, his contempt unmistakable.

"Night vision still needs a little light!" Bulei said. "Besides, I'm different from other owls. Other owls
