This was Duru's first time seeing such a vast and magnificent river.

Broad and surging, its rolling waters rushed toward the far side of the setting sun. Above this roaring river, there was not a single glimmering ripple to be seen—only towering waves and mist that stretched from sky to earth, blotting out the sun.

Standing on this side of the river, one simply could not see the opposite bank.

"Is this really a river?" Duru's suppressed voice squeezed out from his throat. As a former cargo ship sailor, he had seen the mad sea and sea beasts fraught with danger, but even such terrors had their peaceful moments. The sea could shimmer beneath gentle breezes and warm sunlight; it could not possibly remain at its peak forever.

But this river was different. It seemed to have been roaring without pause since time immemorial, never once ceasing.

Duru had always been particularly attuned to water elements, though he had been unable to sense it back on the Old Earth Continent. Yet the moment he emerged from the Planar Corridor, he immediately felt the lively water elements around him. Before he could even rejoice, however, the water elements that had always been so gentle toward him began to riot.

Especially beside this enormous river, Duru felt that water elements possessed such a frenzied side as well.

Duru was stunned.

It was not only Duru. Feng Man and Gu Yina were also shivering by the riverbank. Their trembling was not merely due to the freezing cold and dampness, but also from reverence for nature and fear of this great river.

"This is the Snow Agate River. It runs directly from Alya Duchy to the Pamiji Plateau and is a branch of the Pamiji Everfrost River," Angel said.

"Only a branch?" Astonishment flashed
