The Fragment Mayfly was a miraculous treasure created by Gloria. It could open a two-way passage connecting to another world.
There were three restrictions on using the Fragment Mayfly. First, it could only open a one-time two-way passage. Second, it had to be used within a "stable plane." Third, one had to know the coordinates of the other world one wished to connect to.
Under the current circumstances, all three conditions could be met.
Take the "stable plane" condition. In the Abyss Plane, wizards faced enormous risks when using a Planar Corridor and could perish upon encountering unstable space—but that only happened while traveling through a Planar Corridor.
If they merely wanted to open a two-way passage, then their present location actually met the condition of a "stable plane."
As for the "coordinates of another world," one reason Angel had never used the Fragment Mayfly before was that he had lacked the strength and did not know the coordinates of other worlds. But with so many wizards around him now, locating coordinates could not be easier.
