Minister Molotov of the Foreign Affairs Department stood before a blackboard displaying a map of the Sea Star World, personally explaining the places the Tailed Beasts would be going next.
Meanwhile, Nine-Tails, Eight-Tails, and the others had shrunk themselves to less than half a meter tall. They sat in a row atop the conference table, attentively listening to every word Minister Molotov said.
They looked like nine adorable, obedient pets, completely lacking their former ferocity, savagery, and madness.
"Like I just explained, Sea Star is a planet far larger than the Shinobi World, so the territories assigned to each of you will be very far apart. If you want to see one another again, that will depend on luck and fate."
Minister Molotov smiled as he faced the Tailed Beasts' gazes.
"That's no big deal. We didn't see each other much over all these years anyway."
Kurama dismissively curled his lip, lightly swaying the tails behind him.
"But I want to visit you all often. Before, we had no choice, but now we can move about freely. Why shouldn't we keep in touch, especially in an unfamiliar world?"
Gyuki, seated beside him, retorted in a deep voice.
"Have you all forgotten? Back when we were first born, we played together every day. We're friends!"
His words plunged all the Tailed Beasts, including Kurama and Shukaku, into silence and memories.
That was right. They were about to move to another world. There was no need to bring the grudges and entanglements of the Shinobi World with them.
"Ahem, actually, if you want to keep in touch, you only need to use Den Den Mushi."
At that moment, Minister Molotov offered a reminder.
